"This is a great choice in Montreal. Located in a funky area with lots of good dining and shops, the suite I had was spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. Two minor points were the excessive number of messages from the host, each of which required going to a website rather than just receiving the message, and not having hot water in the shower in the morning."

"Had a wonderful stay at Kutuma. Very small hotel, only 8 rooms. But they are beautiful. So amazingly well appointed. Large, functional kitchen, great bathroom including jacuzzi, lots of little touches. Also love the fact that they have individual shampoo and bath gel bottles rather than the gross yuck stuff. Service is great , we were even offered tea and coffee at check in. Location is excellent, next to the subway and Latin quarter. This is a great little gem. Will definitely return"

"The room was rather small with no comfortable chairs to sit in. The hotel was clean and modern. Checkin was quick. Parking was extra. The restaurant breakfast was quite nice, enjoyed it. However, no cream for the coffee, only milk...a faux pas in our books! Great location, close to Old Montreal. Overall we did enjoy our stay, it just wasn't a $350 night kinda room, was expecting more. "

"Close and convenient for the F1 race, but the hotel was old and worn out. Stairs were old looking with dirty old carpeting. There was no on-site host. Shower ceiling was peeling. No sheets and blankets for sofa bed. Ran out of toilet paper and messaged the hotel through the chat app and never got more toilet paper."

"Nicely decorated, clean one bedroom unit in the trendy Mile End neighborhood. Fully stocked kitchen, cable TV. Lots of shopping nearby and a short 15 min walk to the subway. Gaspe Parking garage is nearby with cheap weekend rates."

"Hidden away up a staircase is the charming and characterful Parc Suites Hotel. Please note that I am not aware of an elevator and it is 30 steps up to reception desk. The reception administrator was so kind and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Suite 8 was large and light with a super big and comfy bed. Well stocked kitchen for preparing meals. Smart TV so could log in to own accounts on huge wall mounted TV. My room faced away from Rue Parc and was nice and quiet at night. Just a...

"The apartment is adorable and very comfortable. There was a hot water issue which was taken care of right away. The people upstairs where walking around in boots (?) late at night and early morning. Maybe encourage guests to wear slippers (?). There was also some movement of furniture in the early morning (around 6 am). Other than that, I really enjoyed my stay. Thank you! Merci!"

"The look of the dorms is terrible. They need major improvements since decades but nothing changed. Mattress are very poor quality, slacked linen fleeping from the mattress, no appropriate large enough lockers in the dorms, no sound proof, no privacy curtains for every beds in the dorms despite several requests for that, but unfortunately, the manager prefer to keep this as it is... ! The only thing saving that hostel is the breakfast. "
