"Pool is great"

"Staff were all friendly and helpful. Food was delicious both breakfast and dinner. The coffee shop/ bakery served some of the best cappuccino and flat white have ever had. Baked goods were pretty good as well. The older wing rooms were spacious but starting to be ready for a remodel. I don't think any room would have a bad view. Would stay again no doubts."

"Had an awesome stay at the Victoria Regent Waterfront Hotel & Suites. The place was super clean, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were big and comfortable with a great vibe. Honestly a wicked spot right on the water, I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Victoria."

"Unique little hotel in a great location. We loved the cathedral ceiling in our room, the balcony and the renovated bathroom was wonderful. The hot breakfast was one of the highlights of each of the four days we were at the Embassy. I suggest allowing hotel guests to take small things like tea bags, fruit and muffins up to their rooms. It feels a bit like guests are policed by the kitchen/wait staff at breakfast."

"This a beautiful property, we mostly enjoyed our stay. However we were disappointed on our first night as we were assigned a room with a lot of street noise, as a result we got no sleep! Additionally the bathroom was tiny and very outdated, not what you'd expect from a 5 star establishment. I gathered that small bathrooms seem to be an overall theme throughout the hotel. On the second night we changed rooms and had a much better experience (with a slightly bigger bathroom and no street noise). "
