"My stay was enjoyable and the highlight was the pool. It was never crowded, so it was enjoyable. The breakfast was good, but the food I ordered for lunch was not the best. The wait staff and the front desk staff were all very nice. My biggest issue was that 3 days in a row when my room was cleaned they did not refill the toilet paper and despite going down and asking at the desk, they still never brought any up. I ended up having to keep going down to the bathroom in the lobby and take some from the roll down there. Really an inconvenience. I even asked the cleaning lady when she had her cart in the hallway and she told me she had none. The rooms were clean, but basic. There was a mini fridge but no microwave. "

"Unfortunately, this stay was a huge disappointment. We visit Panama frequently to see family and friends and usually choose El Cangrejo as our favorite neighborhood. Hotel El Principe used to be one of our top choices, but after this experience, that is no longer the case. The issues began at check-in, which was incredibly slow. However, the real problem started when we finally reached our assigned room: there were already people staying in it. While the staff moved us to another room quickly, it was an alarming breach of privacy and safety. The 'cherry on top' was the complete lack of building security. After stopping at a nearby shop, we were followed directly into the hotel elevator by individuals who were clearly not guests. We then witnessed them meeting other patrons in the hallways for what appeared to be solicitation or short-term 'visits.' It is very obvious that the hotel does not monitor who is entering the building or accessing guest floors. As regular travelers to the city, we felt quite unsafe. Between the room assignment error and the 'revolving door' for non-guests, we can no longer recommend this hotel."

"Mi reserva tenía desayuno incluido, fuimos por los juegos panamericanos de la juvenrud, el desayuno es a partir de las 07h00 el personal lo tiene listo, un entrenador que debía salir a las 07h00 no lo dejaron servirse nada, porque esta escrito en piedra que si o si empieza a las 07h00 no les costaba nada ni le interrumpia a nadie que el que se sirva lo que ya esta preparado, era del Perú el coach, el necesitaba salir comiendo algo, en la piscina no iba a encontrar comida, que pesimo servicio para el visitante. Personalmente pedí me ayuden con un batido al que yo iba a entregar los alimentos, voy desde Ecuador y es el primer hotel de todos los que me hospedado que su personal no puede ayudar con un batido, es decir no puedes siempre andar a llevar una licuadora. Un día quisimos llevar un sanduche que no lo comimos ese momento y solo nos habíamos servido 2 huevos, y nos dijeron que esta prohibido sacar alimentos del restaurante y que iban a botar ese sanduche. Es decir tienen dinero para desperdiciar. Nada serviciales, no es un hotel adecuado para recibir huéspedes que a las 07h00 ya tienen que estar fuera del mismo. Se entiende que sirve si tus planes son pasado las 08h00 de la mañana."

"Friendly staff from the front desk attendants, to the restaurant staff to the housekeeping. Even with the language barriers. Everyone I encountered was pleasant and I appreciate it. Sufficient included breakfast buffet. Nice rooms. Housekeeping was good. Room was clean. Would stay again. "
