"This apartment is at the very top of ,one of only 5 medieval towers in Florence. Yes, it's a tough walk up unless you are athletic (and more so with luggage), but the view from the top floor of the apartment (there are 3-4 depending on how you count) had the most stunning view! Everyone in our group thought this apartment was a highlight of the trip. It's centrally located and there are even restaurants below in the piazza. Just the Irish bar is a little loud at night but I slept through it."

"This hotel is on the 3rd floor of a historic building. There are no elevators (which I knew beforehand). The stairs are not for the faint of heart. We got one key card for our room, so we had to co-ordinate. Also, when we arrived, we had to check in using the codes although we arrived before 4 PM. This was not a big deal but I wanted to mention. The location is awesome. The rooms were spacious and clean. The communication was good."

Traveling internationally can be intimidating but Hotel Santa Croce put all the uneasiness I had being in a foreign land with my wife and son to rest. "The Palazzo Graziani was a beautiful respite in a busy city. Behind the giant, ancient wooden doors was a welcoming, clean bed and breakfast. The breakfast had a variety of meat, cheese, breads, cakes, coffee, tea and juices. The room had comfortable beds. Location was convenient to many good restaurants. If you do the pasta cooking experience with Cooking with Elvis, it is a 5 minute walk from this inn."
