"Excellent hotel close to the city centre with its pedestrianised area and attractions. Traditional and comfortable. Cosy but freshly decorated room. Hospitality tray. Comfortable communal areas. Excellent breakfast. Staff could not do too much for you. Bus from airport stopped about 150m away, so easy to access. Would thoroughly recommend."

"A/C not working. Apparently shut off as to the time of the year and local ordinance? Bare bulb lamp, no shade. 4 hangers. Bathtub/ shower had mildew stains, drain plug laying on the side of the tub probably due to the fact that drain was very slow so we are standing in dirty water. Asked to change rooms which is being accommodated for days 2 & 3, haven’t seen that room yet. "

"Liberty Palace is a unique authentic Sicilian B&B that is conveniently located 2 blocks from the train station. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room is one of 6, large and very comfortable and clean. It's on a quiet street so you don't realize you're in a large city."

"The rooms were large. The location was excellent, close to the main areas but very quiet. The bed was extremely firm, too firm for us. Generally, it was a little dated. Breakfast was okay. In my opinion, not a 4 star property though. "
