We booked a suite for a week in June 2024 and the website mentioned that this room fits up to 4 people.
When we arrived at the hotel after a very very long flight (12 hours), the receptionist was so rude and did not let us check in since we were 3 people in one room. She said that the policy is that the room only fits 2 people and 2 children. We told her that there is nothing in the website that says such thing, she then said that this was a mistake from their end and they will fix it going forward. We begged for an exception since it was their fault and there were no hotels available around the area… we travelled a lot and we were so tired.
Hours and hours later, the receptionist sent us to another sister hotel HM chain (a horrible hotel with very low standards and very remote) and she promised us that the new hotel will give us the same suite or at least 2 standard rooms (since we originally paid for a suite and we are 3 people). We were shocked when we arrived to the new hotel that there were no available suites nor did they give us 2 rooms. They gave us one very small room like a tuna can where they added an extra bed. Because we were 3 people in it: they also asked us to pay additional 26 euros per night for the 3rd person. We originally paid for a suite in the other hotel and they never refunded us back the money..
WORST experience ever! We paid so much money on accommodation and we got the worst room ever!
I do not recommend this hotel at all.
