"The room smelled like someone was smoking in it. There was a cigarette burn on the top blanket, and stains on the sheets. No ice in the ice machine. Said there was "free" breakfast, and all they served was waffles and coffee."

"The blanket on the made bed had something crusty all over it. There was a large clump of hair on the floor by the sink. The non smoking room smelled like smoke. The vent in the bathroom wasn't secured to the wall. Part of the ceiling above the shower was ready to crumble. No phone, iron or ironing board, as advertised. Smoke detector not secured. Holes in the curtains. Beds were hard as boards. No stopper in the sink, so don't drop anything! Not a good experience, at all. Extremely disappointed. Pictures on Hotels.com site were not even close to there real thing!"

"The exterior is beautifully maintained. The interior...holy cow. I'm very surprised Expedia has this property evaluated at a 4.8. I'd give it about a 2.8. I wore my flip flops in the shower since the shower pan was so worn and discolored. Towels were threadbare. The dresser had a loose piece of granite on top, the bed was horrible. Cheap chairs and tables. And noisy as heck! The only great thing was the ice machine. "

"First of all, the staff was excellent. Everyone was very helpful and always happy to help. Unfortunately, other parts of our stay were not so good. The breakfast was lacking in just about every area except cleanliness. Selection was very limited. Tasteless eggs and some strange type of sausage. The hot waffle maker was the best option. Ran out of coffee before breakfast ended with no refill of the dispensers. The pool was heated and clean and there was sufficient seating available. Our room was adequate with the normal furniture. The king size bed was comfortable for me but was very soft which might make it uncomfortable for others. My main concern was the bed linens. Pillows were extremely poor quality. The sheets were clean but old and almost threadbare. The blanket was too small for the size of the bed. It didn't reach the sides let alone, hang over to allow tucking. The cover was a thin slippery fabric that kept sliding off the bed. I was impressed with the TV selection, though. Many offerings with 5 or so HBO channels. Overall, this is a clean, friendly place to stay but don't expect any luxuries."
