Vive The People!

In my opinion, and if you accept that that this is a hostel - not a hotel - this is incredible deal! Great location, great views, a great and friendly vibe, and all at a great price!

The bed wasn't very comfortable, and the pillows were terrible. There was only one towel and no bathroom mat. It wasn't a very comfortable room, but the location was excellent, right in front of the metro. And from my room, I could see the tip of the Eiffel Tower.

One of my favourite hostels in Paris. Have stayed here number of times and never disappoints. Location, room and roof top are the highlights. I like how it's close to the station, supermarket next door and plenty of eateries near by.

Really conveniently located, well connected to key areas of Paris and some great food options nearby. Staff were really helpful and the quality of accomodation was great. Beds were comfy and facilities were clean and well maintained. Despite being on a busy roundabout, it was quiet inside. Would definitely stay here again.

Comfy beds but steps to upper bunk are very loud and creaky, rooms are very cramped. Washrooms felt very dirty because water would collect on the floor and not dry up, causing a smell since there was no ventilation. No common area as well. Rooftop area is very popular with those at the hostel and locals alike therefore busy, so sometimes there was no seating. Location is great, lots around but not too busy and metro is right across.

The hostel is next to a perfect metro station and the rooms are super good. I stayed at a 6female dorm and the beds are quite private and with big lockers. The shared bathroom is not good. They could use a better cleaning service.

Rooftop bar is incredible, everything else just OK

The rooftop cafe/bar is amazing. Everything else was, at best, satisfactory or average. My main complaint was that there's VERY little space in the dorm rooms - it felt very cramped. I know, it's PARIS and if you want space you're gonna pay big money for it. But given that there are lower-priced hostels in the city, I guess I was expecting a bit higher level of amenity here. The shower/bathroom facilities are nice and modern, but weren't very clean and there was water all over the bathroom floor from the showers. Still - the location of the hostel worked for me, given that I just needed a place near Gare de Lyon after a late evening train arrival. I was looking for a bed for one night and a place to shower before catching a flight home from Paris the next morning - so I suppose to that end my basic needs were met. Don't know that I'd book here again, though.

The rooftop bar took too many reservations from people not staying at the hostel, so on multiple nights there wasn't any room to dine or to meet people staying there. The front desk staff were amazing, helpful, nice... the rooftop staff not so much. The rooms were great. The bathroom cleanliness depended on the day (clients at fault, just as it is with any hostels). The locations was amazing! The metro was steps away, market right next door, multiple restaurants, cafes, bar, and everything else you need.

I checked-in late around 23:30 tired from a long trip and my bed wasn’t done, was dirty of previous guest. I requested another room as was the fastest solution but the night receptionist told me that they were fully booked, therefore, arranged the bed for me as fast as he could. On the other hand, there was an elder gentleman 70+ in the room with urine issues and all the room was smelling really badly and next day I found the diapers in the floor next to my locker. The staff of the hotel was aware but the explanation after I checked out was that they couldn’t moved him or us and just apologise for the inconvenience. The sound of the air con in the room was noisy and was difficult to have a good sleep with all this issues. I like staying at The People Nation, is my favourite in Paris but this time it was not the experience I was looking for.

Generally okay to stay for short night. There was a homeless who try to get in when I was check in. It made me feel this hostel may not be safe enough. The bed was fine , the room temperature was okay but a bit dry air. Toilet was okay. Nothing was too much dirty.

The restrooms were rather dirty and smaller. The showers were also small.The bunk bed room was ...small. To put it in a nutshell too much promiscuity and lack of maintenance. Lack of cleanliness too, oh one receptionist boy liked to be flirtatious with some female guests instead of dealing with bookings rapidly.
