"Unfortunately, La Ramblas was under construction during our stay making it quite loud and somewhat distracting from the charm and nostalgic views we had expected from this central location. The hotel itself and the staff were very accommodating, friendly and the breakfast was a great start to the day."

"On first impressions the hotel looked great, bed/room & bathroom were well proportioned and clean, but there are a few reasons why I have knocked off some stars. There was only one plug socket in the room and it was no where near a mirror, the bed was hard, and the pillows firm with no option to choose a softer pillow, the noise from the road (taking into consideration that the hotel is very conveniently located close to the roundabout outside the FIRA, so it’s an incredibly busy area) was some of the worst I have ever experienced. I have stayed in many hotels on busy roads but the windows have always been adequate enough so that road noise was minimised, but this wasn’t the case here and the traffic is heavy 24/7 and the underground also runs beneath. The view from the window was completely obscured by something attached to the exterior. The breakfast was minimal to put it politely, next to nothing in terms of hot options, and very little else unless you’re happy with paying for a breakfast and having toast and jam. The straw that broke the camels back for me was that on the 2nd evening the water in my room wasn’t replenished, and so I let reception know and asked if they could ensure I had some that evening, only to be told that you only get water in your room on the first night! I was staying for 4 nights and was astonished that a modern hotel wouldn’t provide water for their guests! Anyway, we travel to Barcelona regularly for business and won’t be staying there again!"

"Jenifer greeted us with a big smile and open arms as we walked in the door! She was very helpful and even remembered our names throughout our stay. Best front desk hostess we have ever had!"

"There were several issues with the room, the mattress was old and was uncomfortable to sleep on. The shower door was stuck inside and it was really difficult to open... When we checked out, there was a fight going on in the reception, and the staff did not handle that well at all. I would expect much more from a hotel part of IHG, especially at the price we paid."

"This was a fantastic hotel. Perfect and convenient location with wonderful views. There is a metro station right out front. The rooms were very clean and beautiful. The morning breakfast was excellent. We did not get to use the pool but it looked lovely and the rooftop in general has great views. I would 100% stay here again!"
