"This property consists of 3 relatively new cabins located inside a secure gate beside to the main road that circles the beautiful Orosí valley. The cabins are surrounded by greenery including a giant stand of bamboo and orange trees from the family’s orchard, which smell delightful! The road is quite busy during the day but very quiet at night and we had no difficulty sleeping. The cabins themselves block most of the outside sound. There was plentiful hot water for the shower from the rooftop...

"What a terrific setting nestled in the mountains outside of Cartaga. The Tico style cabin had two bedrooms and a single bath with a great room containing the kitchen, dinning room and living room. I spent most of my time on the deck. Was clean and well maintained. "

"Staying here for 2 days was the best part of our trip to Costa Rica! We were treated like family! Albert Alonso the owner is a wonderful chef and he makes everything himself. From bread to pizza, pies and everything in between. He also went over and beyond and called around to find a personal guide to show us around the area that was honest and trustworthy. "Rooms are clean, neat and pretty. There are three bedrooms and enough room for our family (2 adults and 3 kids). The road leading from the main street to the house is narrow, steep, and winding, making driving a bit challenging. A smaller vehicle with four-wheel drive and decent driving skills will be necessary. The location is nice. Just 20-30 minutes to Cartago. We had a good time there!"

"Excelente comunicación con los dueños del lugar, muy amplio, y cerca de la UCR. No hay servicios per se (short stay apartment), pero para los que compren y lleven por ejemplo alimentos hay refrigerador y horno de microondas."

"They have a small lake on property with row boat and walking trails which they charge extra for this. Breakfast included ( Good ) but very limited"
