"I’m a solo traveler, which is important to note in the feedback. I checked in; was provided with a map and suggestions. Staff was friendly and helpful. The pool and balcony view was spectacular. Room was cleaned daily and perfectly. I needed a taxi early morning , they set it up. I even had staff inform when taxi arrived. I will come back!!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at the NYX Bilbao! Pros: Great location! Very helpful and friendly staff at the front desk. Comfortable bed and really dark room that helped us sleep in! These things made it very worth the stay. Cons: The bathroom!!! The bad part about having a glass bathroom door that faces a room and very close to the bed is that the light wakes the person up (glass door, no night light). The bathroom door is also SO HEAVY it slams on you when you go in or out. Unusually heavy door. And the hairdryer- it’s connected to the *inside* of the drawer so it can only be pulled out to a limited distance. Hard to use. Trust your customers and release the hairdryer for more movement! Additionally, we couldn’t find a way to access to the rooftop, and we also thought it might be closed until nighttime. We never made it. Maybe more clear signage would be helpful."

Perfectly located directly across from the iconic Guggenheim Museum, this 5-star property doesn’t just offer a place to sleep—it immerses you in art, design, and Bilbao’s vibrant energy from the moment you arrive. The location is unbeatable. Waking up to sweeping views of Frank Gehry’s architectural wonder right outside your window (especially from the higher floors or suites) is pure magic. The hotel’s design, a collaboration featuring artist Javier Mariscal, feels like an extension of the Guggenheim itself. The interiors are a stunning museum of 20th-century furniture and bold, whimsical details—think curated art installations, thoughtful contemporary touches, and spaces that spark creativity at every turn. Whether you’re in Bilbao for the museums, architecture, or Basque cuisine, this hotel elevates the entire trip. It’s not just accommodation—it’s part of the cultural experience. Did complain about it, as it was so late when we checked in they couldn’t do anything. Staff were kind and helpful. Would stay here again next time, hopefully the air conditioning will work."
