"I wanted to love this hotel because I love to stay at hotels with history. But I didn’t. My son and I stayed in a petite room with a king size bed. It was the perfect size for 2 people, at a great price. The location is excellent. The issues: the room was hot! You can’t adjust the temp at all. They had box fans you can ask to use but it was still too hot to sleep. The bed was uncomfortable. I felt every spring. The pillows too firm. Neck pain. The hot water handle in the shower leaked so it made the handle super hot to turn off. Not to mention hard to turn completely off. I had to use a rag not to burn my hand. The walls are thin so you will hear all the bumps and door slams from your neighbors. The staff didn’t seem like happy people but I just got my room key and that’s it as far as interactions with them. The pool was DISGUSTING! My son was upset we couldn’t use it. I wouldn’t stay here again unless I tried the older section of the hotel. Maybe it’s just the side I was on."

"The breakfast was now appealing or tasteful no fruit, oatmeal watery, no Pancakes or waffles, not a good selection of juice! Icemaker didn’t work, door key didn’t work X 3 went up and down to desk to rekey! Parking wasn’t available, had to park on the street and got a parking ticket ticket!"
