"Very nice breakfast. Room was clean."

"The location was nice, but the rooms and property seemed very dated. Not sure we felt like the rooms were clean. They certainly could use a fresh painting. There were many plastic patches around the room which made you suspect about what was going on. Also not well insulated you could hear guests in other rooms and all the traffic outside. Would recommend checking out other options if you're in the area."

"The Normandy is a beautiful cozy inn tucked in the shopping district of Carmel by the sea. Perfect for walking to the cafe for breakfast or a romantic dinner around the corner."

"Close proximity to downtown Carmel!"

"Really enjoyed our stay here - lovely room with high quality furnishings and linen. The breakfast and happy hour were really great touches! Parking a bit tricky - small spaces and limited. Having said that, we always got parked! Great location in the centre of Carmel! Staff also super helpful arranging to post an item we accidentally left behind. We would absolutely stay again!"

The breakfast was your normal continental breakfast however when we arrived around 8am, there were very slim pickings and absolutely no silverware. The...

"Great location. Can walk to most of main attractions from Cannery Row Inn"

"Room was basic, outdated, however, clean, the beds/pillows were very comfortable. Needs updating. No USB ports, Ceiling fan was very unstable, screen door to the balcony needs replacing. It was a plus to have a refrigerator and microwave in the room. Parking was definitely a PLUS - free, convenient. Location is Great, close but quiet. Breakfast was disappointing - very basic, cereal in plastic containers, flimsy paper plates, frozen waffles stacked in a bowl - just not a good look. The...
