"The hotel was very clean, bathroom was great. Plenty of counter space and hooks to hang things up. Breakfast was also great! But. The reason for 3 stars was what happened after we left. My husband left his bb cap there and we tried calling front desk to see if yhey could mail it to us. The call went straight to a recorded message and then hung up on me 6 or 7 times. Finally called the main Hampton inn/Hilton number and after speaking to a few people got a number for yhe Hampton Inn Richmond/Chester hotel. There aparrently are 2. Waiting for a call back on the cap now."

"The third floor smells like urine, broken light on bed ,when there where pubes on the shampoo bottles I requested someone clean it or a new room - I was told no one was working but them so they can’t come clean it - so got a new room fifth floor - smelled a lot better - trundle bed mattress was dirty and socks under bed couch - if air was set to 72 a musty smell was as in the room but still better then the 3rd floor smells - went to use the pool and water was all mucky and smelled like dead fish so could not use that at all - I did not get to experience some of the good part that other may have because after the overnight staff member was rude I didn’t bother asking anyone else what the heck was up with the pool and the smell and the musty air "

"I had an accident with my room since it leaked water from the bathroom to the room, I recommend remodeling the entire bathroom of this room since it looks "old" the grout of the tile is dirty and I think it is not the quality standard of the Marriott"

"Clean property, staff was very welcoming. Quiet place and convenient to whatever you may need. Loved the breakfast and I even got to have something to go since I was traveling early. They are very accomodating to guests. Great overall option. I would stay again."

"Great front desk staff amazing hospitality team .. pool was great kids really enjoyed there time .. I even got too use the grill.. wish I could’ve pack that grill up by the way..😂😂😂 breakfast cool .. coffee really good I recommend the Robust 👌.. cool gym .. great laundry room.. will be back "

"Got my reservation moved after Expedia lost my reservation for a different hotel. Upon walking in, the elevator had trash everywhere, there was staining on the carpet and the room smelled like weed. The smell was so potent that my husband and I had to get a room somewhere else."
