"I booked almost a month ago and when I got there the room had no air conditioning because they were working on it. They didn’t bother calling or texting to let me know, after a whole day of hiking, it was late evening when I was checking in. No other hotels were available, in the area since it was a small town. They had the window open for ventilation and the room was full of bugs and mosquitoes. The walls are paper thin and you can hear even the hanger being placed in the room next door."

"On a adoré notre séjour à Bujtina Sophie.

"Excellent concept, room specification, on-site manager and location but no blinds on windows!"

"Clean and modern room with AC. Great welcoming from the owner and his son"

"We had a great view directed at the castle. Really nice at night with lights. Staff was extremely helpful. Location was perfect for walking around old town. Decor of our room was unique and authentic Albanian. Breakfast was good. Highly recommend this hotel."

"The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially the young man at the front desk, who have is great suggestions for food and things to do, always checking to see how his recommendations went for us."

"Beautiful hotel with very nice rooms, wonderful finishes, and spectacular views over Gjirokastër and the valley. The main drawback is the hilltop location: walking to and from the Old Town is extremely steep, so you will likely rely on taxis, which adds some friction if you want to explore frequently. The staff are friendly and genuinely helpful, though service can feel somewhat unpolished. The food is okay, but I found the restaurants in the Old Town much better. Overall, a lovely place to stay...

"Super accueil très attentionné"

"The front desk help was excellent, breakfast was delicious and my room was comfortable"
