The big plus for me was how peaceful and tranquil the place is, also the owners and staff are lovely, sooo helpful, nothing is a problem, so welcoming, they make u feel right at home. I loved my stay there, next time i,m in Kata i will stay there again

It's got a huge hill but it was good for exercise. 😆 Beautiful pool it was a it was a little bit of a walk to the beach but manageable. The Thai restaurant at the entrance of the street is amazing. Might not look like much but incredible favors. We had a great time ☺️

Nossa estadia foi ótima. Funcionários super educados e solicitos. Quarto grande e confortável. O único porém é que o hotel fica no alto de um morro e para quem está a pé pode ser um pouco difícil.

Rauhallinen keidas joka tuntuu yksityiseltä keskellä palveluita. Upea maisema kaupungin ylle ja siisti allas sekä ilmastoidut mukavat huoneet. Ravintolan palvelu ystävällistä ja nopeaa, tosin auki vain 8-16. Vaihdoimme huonetta oleskelun aikana koska halusimme jäädä pidempään ja kaikki järjestyi hienosti.

Härligt ställe!

Bokade 2 nätter, men vart så positivt överraskad av stället så förlängde 2 nätter till. Härlig miljö, lugnt och stilla med naturen omkring. Brant backe upp till resorten men e man ung och rask är det inget problem! Personalen är supertrevlig och service vänliga!

Rats in the room and restaurant

Horrible stay at this hotel, the worst experience I've had and I travel a lot. After unpacking everything and getting ready for a shower we found a RAT in the shower. Obviously the hotel is situated where there is a lot of vegetation and we figured it could be a one time thing. They gave us another room, luckily without rats, but surprise, the morning after we saw 2-3 of them eating food scraps in the corner floor of the restaurant near the buffet!! About 2 meters away from the staff sitting and having coffee, having obviously dropped food and left it there. Needless to say stay away from this place unless you don't mind the rats everywhere. We told the reception about it and the reply was "yes, we know about the rats but we try to control them...". Also very important to mention is that this hotel is far from everything, it will cost you 4-500bahts one way to get just about anywhere (so a hotel closer to the center but more expensive would be worthwhile) Finally we almost missed our tour in the morning because they tried to reach us but nobody was at the reception even after 7am. I had to run around to try and find someone. The only positive thing is that the decor is really beautiful, with flowers everywhere and a nice pool. Ruined our stay in Phuket.

Found Rat, Checked out Early

I usually am pretty easy going in terms of hotels, but in this particular instance I had a bad experience that I feel compelled to share. On the second day of our stay, despite keeping the doors religiously closed (there are lots of mosquitos in Thailand), we can into the room to find a rat, the size of my fist, scamper away from my bag and into the room. The hotel sent people to investigate and eventually caught the rat living under a book near the minibar, which squeaked/squealed bloody murder as they took it out. While the manager was nice enough to offer a recleaning of the room, we couldn't stay after that incident and booked another hotel. Other Aspects: while the hotel room was big, it wasn't particularly clean when we entered, with dust covering the ground and some countertops. The sheets (as other guests have mentioned) also had some small stains. At first, I didn't care too much, but in light of finding a rat living behind our fridge, it was clear that the standards were too laxed. I do have to mention that the staff was nice and understanding of our plight, but it was a bit too little, too late. Refund: despite promises to refund us for the two nights we didn't stay, my repeated attempts to get a refund through Expediahave been unsuccessful. Unclear if the hotel is avoiding processing a refund, but I will update if they do.

Lugn pärla

En härligt vacker oas en liten bit från Katas stök och stoj. Det är en rätt brant backe som leder upp till hotellet men hotellet erbjuder gratis transport till och från stranden. Var perfekt för oss som ville ha lugn och ro men ändå nära till huvudgatan med restauranger och affärer Jättefint hotellområde och fantastiskt pool som var ren och välskött. Här kan man ligga halva dagen och bara läsa och bada. Trevlig personal och god frukostbuffé med ägg (enligt eget val), bacon, skinka, korv, thailändsk var mat, frukt, grönsaker, marmelad, bröd, croissant, flingor. Rent och fräscht.

Quiet and relaxing

Had 16 relaxing days at BVR, and it was very nice. To get 5 stars it has to improved breakfast which we only had 1 day, due to the poor selection. Aircon didnt work as hoped, even though it showed 20 degree. And even for a Superior Room/Village the bathroom need a slightly upgrade. With that in mind, we would gladly come back to the same place, due to its quiet location. If you are a person with diff in walking, take a tuk or rent a scooter, otherwise youll get very tired goint to the place every day.

A perfect get away

A very peaceful and quite hotel on the top of a very long steep hill. It's a perfect get away from all the busy stuff that hits Thailand. Perfect pool with scenery of the mountains and the gardens are perfect.

Lugnt och mycket mysigt hotell

Vi trivdes väldigt bra med att få dra oss tillbaka från stadens hets. Allt ligger ändå väldigt nära och hotellet har egen pool samt ett litet bibliotek där de hetaste soltimmarna timmarna kan avnjutas. Dessutom vart den branta backen upp till hotellet föremål för våra morgonträning. Vi saknade backen hela resten av resan till andra hotell. Hotellpersonalen har stenkoll och hjälper gärna till med allt. Vi blev tvungna att besöka läkare för en brännskada och hotellet ordnade snabbt med gratis shuttle till stadens lokala läkarmottagning. Trots närheten till djungeln var detta hotell det enda vi inte blev bitna av mygg vid!
