"It was a BAD IDEA to book this place. They need a full renovation! This place should not be open as a hotel as it is!!! The hallway looked like a renovation was started and then abandoned. The door card only worked for the 5 or 6th try. A lot of things were broken. In the bathroom it was really hard to flush the toilet, and in the shower there were more holes and pathed caulking than tile. It was moldy too and the water did not drain form the shower area properly. In the room, one of the...

"Loved it so much we came back a second time! Stayed in room 5 (room 7 is larger). Huge towels. Hot shower. Nice decoration. The breakfast is super generous. The label latte means hot milk not a cafe latte! And we got the Sunday outdoors cocktails evening with a cheese and meat platter too. Loved it. Recommend."

"L'albergo si trova all'interno di Borgo di Rivalta, ben insetito nel contesto. La nostra camera era arredata in modo coerente con mobili classici e letto a baldacchino, anche se ci vorrebbe più cura nei dettagli (es. Lo specchio rotto in bagno). La visita al castello è stata molto piacevole e interessante."

"Loved this small hotel tucked into a hillside with gorgeous views. Dinner fantastic with attentive staff. Not a large menu. Just a few first and second course dishes prepared just for that night. At the chef’s suggestion we shared plates of all of them. The pool has great views and drinks. The hilltown Fortunago is on the list of Italy’s best preserved and carefully maintained. Town so tiny nothing to do but enjoy the perfection of place. No tourist shops in sight. A true get-away. Excellent...
