Mediocre shops and restaurants and the place was swamped with quite aggressive beggars, and East European down-and-outs.

avoid the area is unsafe and full of criminals and homeless. there are regular muggings there

Lots of life round here. Bus station & tram station. Many interesting pubs & Eateries. Interesting water fountains with changing heights and changing colours - best seen at night.
