"Not equipped for cooking. The guest room they put me in smelled of smoke even though it was nonsmoking. The other room wasn’t much better. It has a musty smell. It looked like it had been clean but it smelled old and gross. "

"I needed an afordable clean, safe, last minute stay when I had to stay in town to help a sick relative. The staff were friendly and caring, and I had everything I needed. The road noise might have bothered me, but I sleep with earplugs no matter where I sleep, so I was fine."

I especially appreciated the water pressure in the shower—honestly one of the best parts after a long day. The beds were comfortable, and I was able to rest well overall. What really stood out was the communication from the staff. I arrived around midnight, and they provided clear, simple instructions ahead of time, so check-in was completely hassle-free. Location-wise, this place is a win. It’s very close to the ferry to Victoria, which made planning our trip super convenient, and there are plenty of food options nearby, so you’re not stuck looking for places to eat. The only downside is that it can get a bit noisy at times. You can hear vehicles passing by, so the rooms aren’t the most insulated when it comes to sound. Overall, though, it’s a great spot—clean, convenient, and easy to work with. Would recommend. "
