"This was by far the best stay we had on our whole three week long trip through five different countries. The hospitality of the owners was incredible. From the moment we got there to check in they showed us such great kindness. Because there was no one staying in the master suite the night we were checked in, they kindly gave it to us as an upgrade. The room was absolutely beautiful, and included a balcony. "We had an excellent week at Il Querciolo. It is an ideal location for a base to explore Tuscany with Arezzo, Siena and Florence all within easy reach. If you prefer quieter smaller towns, there are plenty to choose from, such as Cortona, Monte San Savino, Gargonza, Lucignano, Castiglion Fiorentino - all close by. Cesare and family were amazing hosts and provided a warm welcome and plenty of suggestions of places to visit. They also produce some amazing wine, which you have to try when you stay....
