"You can't go wrong here. Tucked back amongst the beautiful mountain terrain. Lots of birds and the smell of Lemon in the air ! What could be better !"

"Loved the property. Felt like we were in our own little world. Extremely peaceful and quiet. Only downside is that it is way up on a mountain and you needed to wait for a shuttle to come pick you up in both directions. Shuttle only runs once per hour but in all fairness we were not inconvenienced by this at all. You can take a cab up that will cost you 30euro if you absolutely must get there."

"First off they send us to another location where there was no staff. I had to call them wait to someone to come to pick us up. Check in took about a hour and a half. The room wasn’t ready when we arrived so we had to wait 30 min. Our room was on the second floor with no elevator. There is no parking on site. Parking is available for 15 euros 4 blocks from the apartment. The Breakfast included is outside the property and all you get is an expresso and a croissant. It’s not a hotel. The bright...

"Great stay close to the train in La Spezia! Simone and Elisa were incredible hosts. Always accessible if we needed anything (which we didn’t because they thought of everything). Up quite a few steps but there is a small lift if needed and for luggage. We loved it. Next to great restaurants and very safe area. They even called a taxi for us when we wanted one. It was a great stay."

"15 minutes outside Riomaggiore, which I was worried about at first, however it was really nice to leave the busy town and the bus schedule was convenient. Large patio with amazing views. Incredible restaurant just up the street (il Borgo di campi) family owned, great food, two of the best meals we had on our trip to Italy. Hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful."

"Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit! Corniglia war der perfekte Ort als Base, da er abends sehr ruhig und entspannt war. Tagsüber haben wir Ausflüge zu den anderen Cinque Terre Städtchen gemacht, die viel überlaufener und voller waren. Da haben wir uns abends immer wieder auf unser beschauliches und ruhiges Corniglia gefreut. Die Unterkunft bietet alles was man braucht, ist sehr gemütlich und mitten in Corniglia gelegen. Das Personal war sehr nett. Das Frühstück war eher sehr basic, aber ok."

"This is a guesthouse so there are no amenities but the staff in the office building is helpful. The office building is in a separate location than the room that you’ll be staying in. The location was good as it was nearby all shops and restaurants and a 10 min walk from the train. We were there 5 nights and our room was only cleaned once due to the designated cleaning schedule. Overall, it was a nice stay, just be away of the differences between a hotel and a guesthouse."

"The room was spacious (triple) and well equipped. Away from the crowds, yet walkable to all places in Riomaggiore. Yes, it’s quite an uphill walk with luggage, but that is explained well during and after the booking with options available to transfer luggage. Do not follow google maps. Just walk straight up the road as you exit the tunnel (no stairs until you reach the place). So those who are rating this place lower for this reason should read the instructions carefully!"

"This clean, mountain top property offered a cool respite from the Lerici crowd. The staff are so welcoming and friendly that you feel right at home. Excellent breakfasts get your day going. I’d recommend the hotel for travelers on a budget who get a very nice place to boot."

"Hotel is outstanding, it’s over 500 years old and it’s immaculate, food was great, very quiet, first time we have ever stayed in a Palace, room was large with a King bed. My only criticism is that it doesn’t have a true shower. Staff were so polite and accommodating ….we loved the place. Shout out to Lucia who checked us in made us feel so welcome. Appreciated Irina’s help this morning on the check out. "

"The staff was so friendly, even helping with our very heavy baggage. The room was clean and well appointed. It had shades that lowered to make it dark, which we really liked. They had great beach towels for us to use. The breakfast was also fantastic."
