"As a Hilton Honors member, I was very pleased with my experience at check-in. The gentleman who assisted me was extremely friendly, helpful, and positive. The property itself was clean, contemporary, spacious, and very welcoming. Upon departure, I like to stop by the front desk to confirm there are no additional charges on my room and to request a printed receipt. In the past at another property, I experienced an issue where my card was charged for a room that had been paid for with reward points, so I prefer to double-check before leaving. When I arrived at the front desk, I noticed the staff member was assisting several guests at the breakfast and coffee station by refilling supplies. I waited a few minutes before approaching her and politely asked if she could assist me with checking out and printing a receipt. She responded that she would be there in just a moment because she was refilling the creamers. After waiting at the front desk approximately another 5–8 minutes, I noticed she had continued bringing out additional supplies to restock. I walked back over and explained that although I understood she was the only staff member available at the moment, I really needed assistance with my receipt and checkout. Her response caught me off guard when she replied, “I am helping guests.” I responded, “I am a guest too.” She eventually came over and assisted me, but the interaction left me feeling overlooked and somewhat dismissed. Date May 23 & 24th - check out 9:00am"

"It was an awful stay!!! 1. The web site stayed they have shuttle service to Liberty University. They did not and was told to take an Uber. That one of the major reason for me to stay at the La Quinta Later was told by a staff member they don't have enough staff to provide the service anymore. 2. Let see what did not work. The phone. Had to get a new one. The TV remote. Had to get a new one. The bath tub did not drain properly nor did the sink by the vanity. They fixed it. They said they did not provide hair dryers. After returning from an outing they "found" one. It appeared on the lower part of the vanity. The plug in did not work to plug the dryer in. 3. The bathroom was DIRTY. The toilet seat was so loose it moved back and forth. They fixed it. The toilet seat is so low. It is proper for an up to 6 year. The walls had stains on once you close the door from the inside it is really bad. 4. I had 2 wake up calls. The first on the 23rd. They said they were late calling by 11 minutes but the phone did not ring. the 2nd one on 24st again no call. I went to the front desk to make sure they got the request on the 23rd my check out day. Again no call I asked the front desk why not. She said she has did know of the request. She also said the phone may not be working. I told her they just replaced that phone. The other staff members were friendly and I really loved the dog friendly stay. I don't have one but I am sure others found it helpful. However, I paid to much for the stay"

"Heather at the front desk for our check in was very helpful and friendly. The hotel lobby and grounds were clean and well maintained. Our room was clean, well stocked with towels and personal care items (soap/tp/etc.), and the beds were comfortable. FYI: room 225 is close to the ice machine room and it can be noisy. I sleep with ear plugs, so it wasn't too much of a bother. The breakfast area was clean and well stocked with several options (yogurt/muffins/fruit/and more)."
