"The air conditioning was rarely turned on and the room was hot and stuffy. No control of air colnd from the room unit. Order the vegetable soup for 6 pounds. Was watered down freeze dried 'cup-a-soup'. Bloody awful. Was refused a hot steak sandwich at 7.20pm and told by staff not available after 6pm as per the menu. Nowhere on the menu is this stated. (THEN ODERED THE SOUP INSTEAD) Constant noise of thumping feet and furnuture being dragged accross the floor up to 11pm at night from the floor...

"Vey clean room; very good air conditioning, helpful staff. Only suggestion is to stop at reception and get a room key card as the Internet may be slow and thus the virtual key may not be accessible quickly. Love the convenience of this location!"

"The reception staff are great. The location being in Gatwick is terrific of course, convenient for the airport and trains. The amenities are clean and comfortable however dinner service let the hotel down. No shortage of staff it seemed but totally disorganised the night we were there. Guests were asking for menus, following up on drinks, food and dinners. My husband finally received a dessert he was waiting for only to have another brought to the room long after we left the dining room. ...

"The Copper Beeches is a 15 minute walk from the South Downs Way. I received a very warm welcome and my stay couldn’t have been better. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Thank you so much. "

"I was upgraded to a larger room on the ground floor which was lovely and the chap on reception was extremely helpful The only shame was no kitchen at the moment but there is a Sainsbury at the garage right opposite so easy to get some food and he supplied cutlery for me A lovely place to stay while travelling"

"Great place to stay and the owners are wonderful. Rooms are comfortable with loads of teas, coffee, hot chocolate and water. I didnt realise we could park there (for a fee) so I'd already booked parking.It's 5 minutes by cab to Gqtwick and the bus stop for Gatwick is right outside the Farmhouse. I'm sold, we're staying there everytime we fly from Gatwick. Great people to do business with. "
