"The check-in process was horrible. I had made reservations and paid in advance. The staff spent over 15 mins trying to locate a room. I had forgotten to ask for a disabled access room when the reservation was made. I asked for a ground floor or a room near the elevator. One of the clerks said that she remembered me from previous stays. I was advised that they located a room and gave me keys to Room 205. I went to the room, used the key to open the door, and saw there was luggage in the room, the bed messed up, and a cell phone on the bed with a charging cord attached.
I went back to the front desk and informed the staff that the room was occupied. The male clerk asked if the room was not made up? I replied that it was occupied. Her stated that it should not be. He and the female clerk began checking a printout sheet and the computer and asked me to have a seat. After 10 mins, they said they found a room and it was Room 325. The male clerk escorted me to the room, which was far from the elevator. I asked if I could change rooms the next day and was assured that I could.
The following day, Friday, 24 April, I asked to be moved to another room that was disabled accessible or nearer the elevator. He asked if I was extending my stay. I replied that I had reservations through Sunday. He said, "No, we are all booked up." Later that evening, I found the motel was not full and observed someone check in that did not have a reservation.
On top of that, the bathroom was not clean."
