Slovakia's High Tatras Mountain! I was at a frozen glacial lake called Štrbské pleso. It's one of the most iconic landmarks in Slovakia. It is really amazing to walk on it! And to see so many people having fun! With their friends, family and classmates. It was a beautiful early March day. I had a great winter holiday this year in Slovakia :). The views were really stunning everywhere!

In my post-processing work I did edit out a construction site (or whatever it is. I never got close enough to see). So, if you visit Štrbské pleso don't be surprised it is there!

And more info about Štrbské pleso: It's the 2nd-largest glacial lake on the Slovak side of the High Tatras, Maximum depth is 20 metres (66 ft). Surface elevation is 1,346 m (4,416 ft). And it's surface remains frozen for around 155 days per year!

"This apartment is so perfect as it was so central plus we had private parking. The interior is gorgeous including the kitchen with coffee machine and toaster, a rain shower in the bathroom and a swivel tv in the lounge/bedroom. Ample space plus an outside sitting area. We had 3 nights there and could have stayed longer. The breakfast was delivered to the door and it was different every day and so much. We loved it thank you so much. "

"Communication from both the property and Expedia was very poor. Note that you will have to make a bank transfer (NOT email transfer, cash, visa, or anything else) to complete the booking. The property did not provide all the correct information so I had to get someone back home to visit the bank twice. Our bank thought it was a scam. "This has to be the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. The goose down comforter was divine and the pillows were so supportive. I had the best sleep this night in almost three weeks traveling in Europe. I enjoyed a very nice dinner in house that evening and was able to walk the neighborhood the next morning to see the town. Barbara at check-in was super helpful and very nice, as I booked the hotel last minute coming from nearby Thermal baths. "
