I have stayed in hostels several times before, but this is the cleanest one I have ever experienced! The hostel managers were also kind and very warm people; they really looked after me! If I have the chance to visit Islay again, I would definitely stay here and would highly recommend it to my friends!"

"Interesting historic building. Great location. Renovations in progress- but no disturbance- it’s a long term project. Enjoyed the grandeur. And seating areas and the bar.A negative was they forgot to clean our room so we had to get new provisions and towels. A bit quirky. Generally a good place to stay on Islay."
