"The hotel was not so easy to reach by car with the help of google maps do to road blocks but when we got there the hotel staff was there to help and park the car for us. The hotel appears newly renovated, nice and clean. Breakfast was good, coffee’s were great. And to top it all there was a “Happy Hour “ between 17:00 and 19:00 with beer, Prosecco, soft drinks and snacks for Free👍😊 Recommended!"

"We loved the location close to the wall walking path. The staff (Sonja) was very friendly and helpful. The room was nice (TV, Bathroom and firm mattress) (we could have used some hand towels). The breakfast (continental) is not included in the price which we may have overlooked. The area is quiet as well. "

The bathroom was larg, but the shower was over a very deep bath, which made access and exiting a little difficult, as we are both in our late 70's. Location was excellent, a 1 minute walk from the bus station near the Porta Sant Anna at the western side of Lucca. Staff were excellent. Polite, friendly and helpful."

Having the delicious breakfast every morning was wonderful. The hotel is spotlessly clean, and extremely comfortable. "We left the train station in Lucca, put in the address of La Luna and had a wonderful short walk, less than a mile into the town of Lucca and to the Hotel La Luna. We were greeted by hotel staff who quickly got us into our rooms, two couples-two rooms. The rooms were nice and would be considered average. The highlight of the hotel is the morning breakfast (included in the fee), an attached bar and lounge and directly across the street, about 60 feet, a very nice restaurant. Please note that if you have difficulty with stairs, it seems all the rooms were above the main floor and carrying suit cases or walkers could be a problem. The hotel is in the center of town and is very accessible to everything Lucca has to offer. We did find our room was overlooking the restaurant and trying to get to sleep before the restaurant was closed created some difficulty. If we stay there again, we would ask for a room away from the street. "
