"Okay stay, never saw any staff but room was clean. Not that pretty rooms. Air conditioning was good. No amenities at all"

"Front lobby has been remodeled but that is all. Hotel is disgusting, dirty, mold, curtains are filthy and stained. Lamp shade was even filthy. I don’t think the floors have been vacuumed or moped in years. I wouldn’t eat breakfast from this hotel bc it’s so dirty. I instantly had allergy and asthma issues from the room."

"Farmington Inn is quaint and has a mature person feel. The room was older and smelled like a nursing home yet it was clean and served the purpose. There was a small laundry room fire while we were there. Luckily, I was in my room and evacuated me and my dog safely. I questioned if they would have gone in to get my dog if I were not there. That question remains unanswered. I’d stay again. It was close to the interstate and food options and some of the most beautiful walks. "

"Requested 3 sets of towels (more than once). Considering there were 3 of us staying there and we stayed a few nights, we only received 2 sets the day we checked in."

"The breakfast menu was fresh and plentiful. The staff at the hotel was wonderful from the beginning of my stay until the very end. The hotel is situated in a nice area with plenty of restaurants nearby. My room was clean and I never had to worry about asking for more towels or toilet paper because it was stocked. "Hampton Inn & Suites Hartford-Manchester was particularly helpful as a pet-friendly motel. We stayed overnight with our two standard poodles, who slept comfortably on the room's carpet. Close by is the excellent Market Grill for dinner, and an attractive mall. Breakfast at the Hampton Inn was very good, with surprisingly good coffee, scrambled eggs, sausage, and waffles for anyone who cared to make them. The staff was pleasant, helpful, and available. "The breakfast buffet was lovely. Our concern was that all guests are charged an additional $20/day for amenities. We were there on a Monday overnight. The restaurant was closed, the pub was closed, the pool table room was closed, the pool wasn't open yet for the season and there wasn't any special programming. It would be more transparent to just include that $20 in the fee, then to make it seem like you are getting some extra amenities that any other hotel would just have included in the cost"
