Located in convenient area about 5 min walk from Sao Bento Stn. Btw it’s do easy to get from Campanha Stn to Sao Bento by train-takes about 4min & cost 1Euro pp. we foolishly took a cab because of luggage & that was about 15 Euro. The apartment is located up a flight of stairs then an elevator to the 3rd level. (Not welcomed with luggage!!!!) It was equipped with a fridge MW kettle, toaster & epreso machine. Bed is comfortable, good shower. Also get a clear description of the property address & also how to get into it. We were apparently sent instructions but unfortunately sent to an incorrect number. We did eventually reach the owner but not before lengthy wandering around on a rainy miserable day. Many of the touristy places located in this area, all walkable but hilly. The tram going along the Douro will end up where you can walk out to a an area to view a beautiful sunset.

The overall hygiene is so so. I would like to file a complain that there weee refurbishment workers working from 7am in the consecutive mornings. These workers were working for the same apartment owner in another flat. The owner should avoid rent out the apartment if refurbishment is undergoing. One of them even rang my bell amd made the whole family woke up. I would like to ask for partial refund for it.

Communication was great. The property its self was fine. A little more attention to cleanliness wouldn't hurt. I maybe have higher standards. The garbage can and refrigerator would benefit from some baking soda in there.

Estancia en familia, 4 pax.

Super céntrico. Perfecto para hacer turismo. Muy luminoso y cómodo. rodeado de restaurantes, comercios y oficinas de turismo. Tiene todo tipo de utensilios en la cocina, hasta lavavajillas. El anfitrión te facilita un contacto para aparcar en un parking cercano con algo de descuento gracias al acuerdo que tienen. Algo por mejorar serían las almohadas, un poco incomodas.

Von dem Apartment aus kann man in kurzer Distanz alles mögliche erledigen. Auch hervorragende Restaurants liegen hundert bis zweihundert Meter entfernt. Selbst ein Bahnhof liegt nur einhundertfünfzig Meter entfernt.

Great location , great people

The local of the apartment is fantastic. 2 mins away from the main pedestrian street and at the door step of main tourist spots and Sao Bento. Ana welcomed and gave great suggestions of what to do in the city. She gave us great tips of which restaurants to go to and what to do whilst we are there. We did had some problems with the internet and cable tv for a few days. But that was out of the operator.

Recommended Springboard and Refuge

This proved a perfect base for our six-day stay in Porto. Ana met us on arrival and she was thorough in offering advice and tips and she is rightly proud of her native city. The apartment is a high quality adaptation of the typical tall houses of the district, with elegant stairwell and elevator, and its three windows open to a shallow balcony overlooking the busy street, and a peep across the roof tiles to the Clerigos tower. It is centrally located, a short distance to the Sao Bento train station and metro and the frequent 500 bus service passed the the street. The bedroom/bathroom/kitchette/living room were cleverly laid out and very clean and relaxing with a marvellous shower after long days' walking. There were many restaurants and cafes within a short distance, at attractive prices and high quality, notably Tapabentos. We whizzed around on the many forms of transport on the great-value day ticket, over the splendid bridge, and out beyond Foz on the coast. Ten minutes to drop down to the busy river edge (and a little longer to climb back up). Splendid baroque churches all gilded. A relaxing day's excursion by train and boat to see the unspoilt Duoro valley. A visit to Taylor's port centre. This apartment is highly recommended.

Cosy and clean apartment hotel

Everything is good but missing tissue. A little noise during nighttime because it's facing the street. Overall it's a good location, close to subway and train station, it's also within walking distance to all attractions.

Great City-life in the Heart of Porto

High-end apartment in the heart of Porto. Close walking distance to both the main river-side area as well as the train station. Spacious apartment that was tastefully decorated. Very comfortable and homey. Small balcony and windows that faced the street provided good light and views onto the city. Would definitely recommend to others. Only issue was making arrangements to get in, and once finding a trespasser in the building. Apart from that - felt we were getting great value for a great apartment.
