"Checked in at 12:30 am and received our key card. We walked to the room which was in a different annex of the hotel, we unlocked the outer door, walked down the hallway which was on the first floor, approached our door and noticed it was open a crack, and the tv was blaring. We knocked on the door, no answer. Then opened the door to find there were pillows on the floor, the bed was obviously slept in and the tv was blaring. We immediately left, returned to the front desk and asked for a refund, which we were denied since we booked through a third party sight, Hotels.com
The clerk at the front desk was confused about how there could be someone in that room, but yet unbothered enough to not go check it out. Kinda felt like a scam. Like possibly she knew she overbooked it.... I was traveling with my 2 young daughters so we filed a claim and left."
