"This is a very old hotel and consequently after the rain our room had a very strong odor of sewage which was unpleasant. Also due to rain the front desk was unable to secure a taxi on our departure to train station. We were forced to walk 2 blocks with all of our luggage in the rain to a taxi stand where we waited an additional 20 min. Just including this for travelers seeking this hotel. May be wise to schedule transports in advance. Never knew getting a taxi would be this difficult. Otherwise...

"Location was incredible. Staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. We ended up missing check in due to a late train and they were very kind to set up late check in for us last minute. Rooms were so cute and spacious. Had read some reviews about the noise from the plaza being loud, but we couldn't hear a thing. Will be staying here again when visiting Florence."

"Very nice place, backing onto the mountain and quiet. Clean and spacious. Comfortable beds. Only complaint which is not a great one is that it was too digital - the front door & room key were down for most of a day (creating an hassle because of the lack of onsite staff) and the wifi was down for 2 days, leading to inconvenience. Otherwise good place in a good location."

"The best experience staying within the walls! Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Filled with so much charm. Breakfast was perfect. We rented a car and were given permission to drive into the town to get our bags into the room. Parking was easy to find outside the walls and the walk back to the room was 5-8 minutes."

"We had an incredible experience at Dimora Bandinelli! Our host had amazing recommendations for the city and was a wealth of knowledge. The breakfast and coffee were delicious. We loved the location, quiet and calm neighbourhood but easily walkable to the city centre. The room was beautiful with both historic charm and modern comforts. We appreciated how well the room was cleaned each day and the complimentary water bottles. The rooftop space was a peaceful escape with stunning views of the city....
