"The hotel is in a great location. The staff were courteous and helpful. The "extras" we received upon checking in were nice. Housekeeping does not come every day, but that wasn't a problem with us; we always got extra coffee, towels or whatever we needed. The only minor complaint is the climate. It was difficult to keep the room at a balanced temperature; it was either too cool or too warm. Overall, though, a wonderful stay. I would strongly recomment this hotel."

"Hotel Mazarin exceeded our expectations. Every staff person we met was pleasant and helpful. Our room was clean and very quiet considering how close we were to Bourbon Street. We were there four nights, and the only night we heard outside noise was on Friday. That had died down by midnight, so we were able to sleep peacefully even with a street view on the second floor. This place is like an oasis in a desert. You can be surrounded by all the high energy sights and sounds and yet escape to the quiet of the hotel. I would recommend this place for its convenience, cleanliness, and old-world feel. "

"The mattresses are like bricks, water pressure is extremely low and the microwave didn't work. Breakfast consists of flavorless rubbery pancakes, toppings galore like they're serving ice cream cones, watery scrambled eggs, sausage, fruit, yogurt or oatmeal/grits. Good location and the staff are nice, but they really need to remodel the place."
