"Be advised that the road to this amazing property is full of twists and turns which doesn't help anyone who is prone to motion sickness. Dramamine is a must! We arrived late at the property which there was a guard that pointed us to the way of the desk agent, who greeted us and helped us take our luggage to our suite. The room was cold, clean and had treats for us upon arrival as it was my birthday. Delicious chocolate ganache brownies! Dual shower heads with plenty of space to spare, bath robes, a private dining area, Jacuzzi tub and outside lounge area and well maintained to enjoy the sounds of the rainforest. The staff was very pleasant and gave us recommendations on what to on our next part of our journey which we are glad we followed through in Uvita with the Mangrove tour. Thank you Brian! The pools were clean and they have many different pools with different temps to soothe whatever sore muscles that you might have from your adventures. Breakfast was to die for, freshly played local fruits to start and a diverse menu, which we wanted to try more but the helping were so plentiful we couldn't finish it most of the time. Be sure to endulge in the little extra pastries at breakfast, you won't regret it! Room service was top notch as well. Although we were sad to go, we would recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing stay, anyone who loves to enjoy the outdoors and natural sounds of the Rainforest will be sure to enjoy!"

"The tree houses are set on a beautiful property. Staff are friendly and very helpful. We particularly enjoyed the coffee in the mornings from our balcony and the night walks. "

I made the mistake of booking this hotel for two weeks so that I had a homebase for my entire stay in Costa Rica. "The lodge may not look luxurious but the staff make sure you feel like it is. Insuring all your needs are met. The staff were amazing, first class! All meals were a beautiful presentation and they got to know you and then catered to your tastes. He mad my husband a fresh picante sauce. We loved the location. We were looking for some conveniences but preferred a non touristy place. It was perfect for the type of trip we wanted. The sounds of the rainforest surrounds the lodge. We thought it was beautiful! "Beautiful property and very charming. This was about 15-20 mins away from the pickup zone for excursions just to keep in mind. We saw beautiful birds and geckos on the property. We would definitely stay here again!!"

"We had a wonderful 3-night stay at Oro Verde! Everything was in excellent condition and the place is very well-maintained. We loved the fact that when we arrived the property had a nice pool that we weren’t expecting, so it was a great surprise! The property is located in a quiet and peaceful area surrounded by nature and at the same time the location is incredibly convenient, just 15-minute drive to La Fortuna. Our experience was great from start to finish!"
