"We stayed at an apartment rental on the resort. The food was really not good and during the buffet there was food dropped everywhere and no staff to make aure consistently cleaning. The road conditions were terrible, it is a very large property and you really have to drive everywhere the roads needed a lot of work due to potholes. The best part was going to playa blanca. Cost 20 dollars to rent two chairs and umbrellas. No staff to bring drinks on the beach. Didn "

The staff are exceptional, and the breakfasts are both generous and delicious. It’s an ideal place to unwind in the evenings after a day of exploring Monteverde and the surrounding area. This is an excellent choice for families. The cabins are thoughtfully designed, offering both comfort and privacy. We stayed in a unit with two separate bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom, as well as a shared kitchen and living space—perfect for traveling with children. The mountain views are beautiful, and the night sky is spectacular, making it a memorable place to relax and connect with nature. Highly recommended for families, couples, or anyone looking for a peaceful retreat."

"Location was quiet as it was at the end of the road by the reserve, we stayed from a Wednesday to Saturday, staff were nice, our room was a little cramped for 4. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed. "

"If you’re looking for a safe place to stay, this place is it. Very safe: enclosed parking, entire property is enclosed, guests wear wristbands to be identified, and you don’t have to leave for food, drink, or pool. The cleanliness was average. The people were very nice and helpful. "

"Fabulous place, beach and sun. National Park (refuge faunique national Curú) is so nice, see the beach. Breakfast and diner are very good. The best place during our travel across costa rica."

"This is a beautiful and very thoughtful hotel in Monteverde. The rooms are well laid out and each has an incredible view of the Nicoya Peninsula in the distance. The balcony was amazing. The vibe of the hotel, its property and the area in general are very relaxing and peaceful. The staff are incredible and make the place so inviting. Breakfasts are included and delicious. We had all three of our dinners at the hotel and were pleased with the taste and variety. The jacuzzi is delightful. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for an upscale but not overly expensive (that's all relative today) stay in Monteverde."
