"The main issue with this hotel is that the staff allowed other guests who were there in large groups to hang around outside their rooms on the balconies, playing music, talking, drinking, smoking, partying meaning that you had no privacy in your room and this went on until 11.00pm. The reception was closed at this time of night and I asked the night porter to quiet them down and he was reluctant. "They are here on holiday to have a good time, perhaps you should ask to move your room" was his...

"The room was comfortable, clean, well maintained, and well furnished. The hotel is an easy 3-minute walk to the Bagatelle Mall."

"No lift so be prepared to lug your bags up and down stairs. Very slow room service."

"We stayed in La Pirogue, Wolmer Mauritius as a family for 4 nights. Our stay was excellent and we found the resort exactly in the same condition as seen in the pictures. While there was a bit of confusion in the airport taxi pick up, but i wouldn't take away a single credit from this resort, its excellent amenities, courteous staff, and good food. "Il est difficile de ne pas tomber sous le charme de cette maison d'hôte Les chambres sont spacieuses et entretenues le personnel est extrêmement sympathique et professionnel Le petit bémol est l'absence de plage à proximité"

"Just back from a very relaxing stay at the Sand Suites. All the staff went out of their way to be helpful from the most junior to the most senior. The food was very good. Our room was spacious and we had a beautiful view overlooking the pool area. We hope to return some time in the future and would definitely recommend it."

"Highly recommendable. Everything I need was there and it was clean everywhere though I stayed a room without bath, toilet and kitchen. Calm area but easy to go other town such as Port Louis or Curepipe etc,. Train station, boulangerie(napolitaine available!), briyani shop(tooo much for a single touirst!), convenience store nearby. And what I loved most is the host. She warmly welcomed me and took care of me. I miss her :')"
