"The rooms were very spacious and clean and the beds were vety comfortable. Everybody was so kind and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. My only regret was not being able to stay another night as we were traveling to Assisi the next day. The locat to Lucca was also perfect and tge drive into the walled city was less than two minutes. I can't say enough great things about our hostess and her mom. They we absolutely sweet and wonderful people. The next time, I will use La Chiuso Delle Monache...

"Restaurant bon . Piscine trop fréquentée par les locaux du village mais superbe piscine. Dommage qu’elle soit pas réservée aux hôtes uniquement. Chambre bungalow petit et très peu de rangement. Il y a le strict minimum et pourrait avoir un coup de fraîcheur, état un peu defrechit "

"We had a great stay, was a little hesitant on arrival as we were driving away from the beach (as expected) and through what would be considered more industrial surroundings. Once past we arrived at the blissful Montepepe. A very peaceful boutique wine farm. Not sure how many can stay at hotel but at any given time there were about 4 or 5 tables at breakfast. "Property is unique castle built in 1300's. Lots of stairs, no parking. With that said, staff is great, location is excellent and it is a great place to visit one time if you like unique experiences. I"
