"This is not the place to book if you’re looking for a typical Ibis type hotel, with streamlined bathrooms & smart decor. But if you’re looking for staying in a genuine old French country cottage, with welcoming owners and good food this place is worth a try. "I found this to be a traditional Chambre d'Hôte, where you don't feel you are in a hotel but rather a guest in the house of the owners. My room was comfortable and quiet, the breakfasts were very good, and the hosts were welcoming. What more do you need? The house is about a 10-minute walk from Gaillac across the river. It is also a fairly short drive into Albi, which is a small city that is well worth exploring."
