"This house is beautiful and immaculate and the owner had thought of everything for all ages from high chairs and travel cots to a shower seat in the walk-in shower. The location was ideal to so many places. The owner is lovely and was quick to resolve any issues. Unfortunately the house itself seems to be the only part of the property that has been renovated and what will be a lovely fairy garden, replete with waterfalls, was marred by construction rubbish. "Quirky from the outside but nice inside. Comfortable and clean. We were in a room next to the pub so we didn’t have any noise except from guests using the hot tub and they quieted about 930. Only issue we had was it was warm so we wanted the windows open but the staff used the space by our window as a smoking area. We were able to open after they left for the night. Small nice kitchen with convenience store across the street that had basic groceries for all meals. "

"We spent one night here on our way from Dublin to Kilkenny. The staff were prompt and very polite. The location is rural, but the facility is top notch. A grand staircase greets you as you enter the main lobby. As a group, we occupied three rooms. Our only issue was the lack of room air conditioning (but iist say the temps while we visited were the highest in almost 80 years). The rooms are equipped with an energy saving feature, you must place a room key in a wall mounted to activate any in room power or lighting. If your remove the key card to exit the room all lights and wall power turn off. This was not a problem once we figured out how it worked. We had two room keys, so if a person remained in the room, the spare key allowed them to watch television and have lighting."
