Good place to stay, clean and comfortable. Shared space is convenient. Decent location considering it is a small town with few options. However 20-30 min drive into heart of Vik. No gas/stores closer

Lovely place to stay. Similar to a hostel but everyone staying here were quiet and friendly. One star removes due to the duvet being uncomfortable, was quite rough against my skin. Otherwise, would come back!

Friendly staff, good room, bathing and kitchen facilities are great. The close by and associated restaurant Gamla Flosid offers good food and service. I have no complaints and recommend South Iceland Guesthouse.

We had a wonderful stay here. The beds were so comfortable and the room was very clean. We ate dinner at their restaurant across the road and had the best Icelandic cod. Bathrooms were clean and shower was nice. I would recommend this place to a friend.

Very interesting property! Would have loved to know more about it since it seemed like a sheep farm but I wasn’t sure if it’s still used. Interesting building in the back as well. Scenery is beautiful. Big common space with 3 bathrooms shared by the rooms!

Great Spot to Stay!

Great place to stay while seeing Iceland. The building itself is fairly modernized inside. We had two windows which kept banging open at night due to the strong winds, but otherwise it was comfortable and quiet. They even provided bread to feed to the nearby sheep!

South Iceland Guesthouse was a great stop for the price! Situated on a beautiful farm underneath the mountains, it was gorgeous scenery all around. Our room was very small but clean and beds were comfortable. The shared bathrooms were good sized and clean. The family restaurant across the street was delicious!

My family stayed in the room for 4. The room is spacious and quite at night. The guesthouse is tidy, clean, and less than 15 mins drive to the two famous waterfalls on South Coast. The host is very friendly. Check in was easy. We enjoyed our stay.
