"No housekeeping during my stay "

"When we arrived, I asked for a bathroom to use. It's broken. Asked if the pool and hot tub are running, It's broken. Front desk asked if I wanted the two (2) reservations joined and paid, I agreed to have the charges done. Upon the second reservation, which extended our stay, housekeeping tried to enter the room when the 1st reservation ended and ordered us out of the room. We declined and the manager was called to see why we weren't leaving. After we explained and had housekeeping try to enter the room 4 times, the situation was cleared. But only after embarrassing us to the whole hotel as housekeeping made the situation aware to everyone. Other patrons run up and down halls all hours of night. We did not sleep well, and neither did our dog that we paid 25.00 extra per night. The back door is propped open for the ladies of the night to come visit other patrons. Hotel is across from a truck stop. Management does not enforce any reasonable rules for the protection of the guests. I had to fix the "U" shaped door lock in order to have a small sense of security while sleeping. The shower head trickled water out. After removal I found excessive thread tape in the opening. Once I removed excessive tape the shower worked. If you want towels you'll need to ask for them....And they do not have a surplus. You will have to turn yours in and pick up later when the washing is done. Breakfast is waffles and instant oatmeal, if that suits your needs. Recommend stay somewhere else."

"Nothing to complain about "

"Great place. This was on my list early as a halfway home point during our spring break road trip, but the price was a little high. Closer to our travel day the price came down to $130 a night so I quickly booked it. We have 5 people so we need rooms with 2 queens and sleeper sofa. These rooms are nice because they had a door as well separating the beds and living room. Nice location a few miles from Falls Park, a must see in Sioux Falls. 4 pm check-in was nice for us, but even better was the noon checkout. Pools and slide open until 10 pm. In the morning we had time to eat a little snack breakfast in our room and then play in the pools for over an hour, then leisurely pack and check out. Staff were washing windows, wiping chairs, scrubbing floors in the common areas when guests weren't as active. Really can see they are trying to keep this place a nice stop. We had a quiet Tuesday night stay during spring break, so little tiki bar was closed, restaurant slow, no one at the arcade, but weekends probably could get a little crazy and/or fun here."

"We had a great time. My only suggestion would me to monitor staff using vapes that have marijuana in them not to be used while you have guests in the restaurant area. There was a very strong presences of it both nights we were in the restaurant/bar area. Very unpleasant to guests. "
