"Solo traveller - Warm welcome. Everywhere clean. Very comfortable room. Lovely staff. Excellent choices for breakfast and dinner, good quality food. Prices are high but that is the same wherever you go in Iceland. Lovely spa and pool. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
One thing I would point out, you must book a seat on the return bus to the bus station/airport. Don’t, like me, assume the bus will just turn up. If you don’t book it with reception it won’t come.

"My family of 3 stayed for one night. The room was nicely decorated and for a small kitchenette, it was very fully equipped! We appreciated the lift and friendly receptionist. The property is a walk away from the main shopping area but there are restaurants short walk away. "

"The whole experience with the place stood out. First, it’s conveniently located to places where we want to venture.Free parking also was the reason why we chose to stay here. It’s clean, spacious for the 5 of us. It feels homy, The rooms are big enough, beds are comfy, we used the kitchen to help us with our budget. We would definitely come back and stay here again given the chance. The instructions for self check-in was easy. Thank you."

"The location is very central to downtown Reykjavik. Everything is within reasonable walking distance. We told the hotel that we were there for our engagement and the hotel accommodated us with pastries and rose petals. The bar and restaurant was very delicious. If you bring a car the parking is a little confusing and tight but very reasonable."

"Clean, warm & very central - ideal for sightseeing in Rekjavik. On a lively street with lots of cafes, restaurants, & food shops (supermarket next door) For saying how central it is it wasn’t noisy.
Only slight issue was the lighting in the room was quite poor. If you’re going out before light which was often in Feb there are not enough electric lights. "

"We had an incredible stay at Hotel Holt! From the comfortable accommodations to the delicious breakfast, free parking, hotel location, everything exceeded our expectations.

"Enjoyed my stay here. The hosts are very welcoming & helpful. Checkin is clear and also has Igdlo sign on building for easy find. Location is close to basically everything, and Bus 55, which saves over $25 round trip to KEF airport. The room and shared bathroom were always clean also. The rooms are small and the lighting not so bright, but overall it was fine, and a very good value for an expensive place like Iceland."
