"Stay away! This has to be the worst hotel in Iceland.
I stayed here a few years and remember it fondly, this week has been a joke: nothing works, the staff are oblivious, the rooms are old and the breakfast buffet is terrible.
Let’s start from the top:
1) the rooms vary, you should insist on the ‘updated’ room otherwise you’re basically staying in a hostel
2) the faucet turns itself off. The shower can’t be fully turned off so it leaks all night. The TV doesn’t work - the channels buffer and...

Bar was very sparsely stocked. Room was very nice and clean and equipped, but some of the fixtured furniture was chipped and did not give a good impression relating to property maintenance. This was out of character with the rest of the hotel which was very well maintained."

"The property was exactly as advertised and our family of 4 enjoyed our stay. The location was great with it being easy to walk to any of the big tourists spots and there was parking. We reached out to the owners several times and they were amazing! The only item of not is the property is on a Main Street in a city across from a bus stop so there is some road noise but that is to be expected."

"We rented a 1-bedroom, 1-bath apartment and it was perfect for my husband and me for 7 days. The check-in process was so easy: we got a code and the apartment number a couple of days before our reservation in their app (which was really great), the code wasn't active until check-in time (3pm), and once 3pm hit, we were able to get into the building and the apartment itself with no issues.
