"Wir kamen nach einer Anreise von 800 km an einem Donnerstag um 16 h an. Die Rezeption war nicht besetzt. Unser Schlüssel lag auf dem Desk. Daneben eine Liste, ob wir morgens frühstücken wollten. Es war eine Zwischenübernachtung. Am nächsten Tag hatten wir noch 600 km vor uns. Wir wollten nur das Auto parken, Abendessen und Schlafen. Am Donnerstag wie auch am Freitag ist das Restaurant geschlossen. Wir mussten uns wieder ins Auto setzen und ein Restaurant in einem anderen Ort anfahren. Rundherum...

"The hotel was ideal for our parkrun trip. The tram and bus stops were just next to the hotel which made our journey from the airport and into Basel very easy. The Reception Staff were very helpful with directions on how to get to the Fondation Beyeler. I highly recommend this hotel. Our room was a proper suite and we were able to eat there instead of dining out. "

"Room was Spartan but clean and tidied up daily. Staff was excellent---always helpful and patient. Convenient public transportation stop and passes provided by the hotel. Only complaint was that the shower's floor was pretty slick; be careful! "

"The location of the hotel was the best feature. One block from the train station was convenient. The fact that local transportation was available on the trams and buses right in front of the hotel was helpful for exploring the city. Thanks for providing the free transit cards during our visit. "

"Sehr nettes Personal im Frühstücksraum und an der Rezeption. Tolles Frühstücksbuffet mit Birchermüsli, Pancakes, diversen Käse- und Wurstsorten, Lachs, Eiern … wir hatten ein sehr großes und ruhiges Zimmer in den Innenhof und haben von den Zügen nichts gehört obwohl es fußläufig sehr nahe am Bahnhof ist. Die Altstadt ist über die Alte Holzbrücke in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Bei der Post ums Eck fährt außerdem ein Bus nach Aarburg. Wir würden das Hotel definitiv wieder buchen. "

"Great location as only a few minutes from the train station. The room was comfortable and the best thing...really warm! Breakfast was basic but it was good value and there was plenty of it. I would recommend Ibis if staying in Basel. "

"Ottimo hotel per Visitare Basilea evitando i prezzi folli del centro. Con la metro 8 più dieci minuti a piedi si arriva all hotel poco fuori dal centro. Colazione a buffet molto buona! Pulito e personale cordiale. "
