"We had a very nice stay at the Hotel Marelba! The staff was very friendly and at least one of the them spoke very good English. Our room was with a perfect view to the inner court yard, with beautiful palm trees! The room was clean and simple, just enough for us for a perfect holiday on Elba!
Cavo was a nice small town, with nice restaurants and the time we stayed there, it had even a small festival to amuse us.
We recommend the hotel and Cavo for easy travelling. It is easy to reach from...
"Il personale dell'albergo è gentilissimo, disponibile ed un'attenzione particolare merita lo chef che ci ha deliziato ogni mattina con i suoi dolci appena sfornati sempre diversi e tutti buonissimi, oltretutto anche molto simpatico. "Tout a été parfait durant notre séjour. Hôtel très agréable, très bien entretenu et à la décoration très harmonieuse.Les chambre et la jolie piscine sont nichées dans un petit jardin fleuri , un petit paradis.Le personnel ( acceuil,restaurant et ménage) est extrêmement agréable et souriant. Nous avons diné au restaurant de l'hôtel les 3 soirs de notre séjour, la cuisine est très bonne et élaborée,et l'ambiance avec la musique piano bar etait parfaite.

"Pros: Great beach; restaurant in the hotel; near the beach; great ocean view; free parking; free towels for guests to use at the beach (ask at the reception).
Cons: Lots of stairs to get e to the beach; and only one restaurant option to dine in (the hotel one). But you can drive only 5 minutes to get to another town with lots of good restaurants and shopping options.
Would definitely stay again here as the beach felt more private and less touristic than in other towns of the island.

La posizione è il vero punto di forza: l'hotel si trova a pochi passi dalla splendida spiaggia di Marina di Campo, permettendo di godere del mare senza l'uso dell'auto. È una comodità impagabile...
"Ottima struttura. Appena ristrutturato. È tutto nuovo, persino la biancheria ancora mai toccata. Amo le camere color tutto bianco, bagno pulito, lo split del condizionatore nuovo. Colazione abbondante self service e comunque con ottimi prodotti. "

We had our dog with us as well. At the pool it was not allowed to have her, but we could walk down to the beach in 2 minutes where she could stay all day long with us.
The hotel is little old-school, little rooms and simple setup, I would say a 3 star if we are stricter. Definitely not a 4star hotel when we compare it with other hotels from big cities.."
"We had an amazing week at Villa Verde. The pool and the beach are great, and the staff was very friendly. The hotel is very familly friendly and a 15 min walk from the nearest town with great restaurants.
The food at the beach was good and not expensive, but we found it was best to go to town for dinner except if you want to trade off a bit of quality/price to stay on side and eat eqrlier (finner open at 7:30 and service is very fast).

"Le Acacie is a charming hotel in a beautiful, peaceful location. The beach is right there, the rooms are clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The food was good, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing.
That said, getting there isn’t the easiest — especially without a car. You’ll likely need to arrange a transfer or take a taxi from the port or nearest town. It’s worth it once you arrive, but do plan ahead.
