The Resort at Governor's Crossing

"The water park is half the size of the wilderness. The mattresses were not up to standard for $225 a night. First day could not get a float for the lazy river, and we paid the same rate on Sunday as we did for Saturday and couldn't check in until 3.The sheets were scratchy and the blankets were Motel 6 horrible! The pull out bed had a paper thin "pad" which allowed all the metal to poke you. I had booked a poolside view but didn't receive that. Paying 450 for 2 nights these amenities should have been luxurious. We will go back to The Wilderness next time as they did have them including down blankets for less cost! Also most activities require a pass that is $30 per child so tack on an additional $120. Very disappointed."

"The hotel was so nice, clean, convenient, and had great amenities, with choices of views, multiple bars/eateries, coffee shop, rooftop pool overlooking the Island and water show. The rooms had everything we needed and even an in-room jacuzzi tub. We were able to access the hotel from various places in the island(very helpful when super hot or in sudden rain showers. The valet service was quick and very convenient."

"The room was worth what I paid but I’m convinced that the top comforter on the bed definitely does not get washed between stays the comforter in our room had small holes. And it was blonde hair left through out the room the hotel rooms are in need of a deep cleaning. My fridge did not get cold. My bathroom Tub would not drain and when we reported it we were given an apology and plunger to fix it. But overall we didn’t pay much to stay for one night so it was worth what we paid I guess. Most likely won’t stay again but 1 night was ok."

"This is our go-to hotel when traveling to Pigeon Forge with our 3 grandchildren, ages 15, 14, 9. The facility is well maintained, totally family friendly and accommodates all age groups. Our check in was easy, Sandra was extremely welcoming, very friendly. The gentleman who brought up our roll away was friendly and even offered to set it up if needed. I failed to get his name but each and every time we're there, he is always friendly and cheerful. Breakfast was plentiful, many options available and obtaining a table was never an issue for us. Don't change a thing, this family friendly hotel exceeds expectations. 😁👍"
