"A lovely hotel in a pretty, tranquil mountainside location. Good sized room which was well-furnished. The outside pool area was great. We ate at the restaurant and sat outside looking up at the mou tains. The food was very good as was the service. On a slightly cooler evening we were able to have drinks round the fire table. As a half-way stop on a 2 week tour of B.C and Alberta this was a welcome retreat."

"We were welcomed to the Wingate and assisted to find a place to park our small trailer for the duration of our 6 night stay. The manager was so helpful in finding a level, well secured spot. We only had the breakfast one morning but it was adequate and a typical hotel breakfast, which are always high carb and sugars, low on protein although they did offer egg patties and turkey bacon the morning we were there. Our suite was very comfortable for us to make our own meals and for my husband to recuperate from his surgery, which was why we were in Kamloops. I forgot some important items when we left and they were quick to call me and arrange them to be shipped to me. Thanks for your wonderful hospitality."

"I cannot say enough good things about our stay at Best Budget Inn! I was traveling alone with my three children and arrived with a ton of luggage. The front desk staff went above and beyond by kindly upgrading us to a spacious suite at no extra charge. This was an absolute lifesaver because my daughter was attending a competitive swim meet and truly needed a separate, quiet room to get a good night’s sleep. The location is super convenient, yet the surroundings are peaceful and quiet. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly thoughtful, friendly, and attentive. We felt so warmly welcomed and well taken care of. We are already planning to return in a few days. Highly recommended to anyone, especially families!"
