"Clean, accessible and nice sized rooms. The lighting in the bathrooms could be a little brighter, but overall enjoyable stay. Great location. The front desk was very helpful with suggestions for dinner."

"The Heritage Cabin was a very nice rental. Location was in the heart of Valle Crucis, close to Boone and Banner Elk. The cabin is furnished nicely, comfortable beds and beautiful porch overlooking the mountains. The only thing I wasn’t aware of was the fact that there was no WiFi in the cabin which made phone calls and internet difficult. Also many rather steep steps to get up to the cabin from parking area, so be aware of that. Otherwise it is a lovely cabin in the mountains."

"This was a great place to stay. It was clean and comfortable. The beds and linen were very comfortable so I slept well. The breakfast was good, and they had gluten free food available, which was a bonus. I was just passing through but would stay here again if I were in the area."

"I had the two-level double queen bed suite. Great for a family or couple(s) on a getaway. Great kitchen, closets, and storage space, and 2 bathrooms &2 entrances which was very convenient. Could use some updating, but if you're going for that lodge feel, this is a great option not far from town."
