"We arrived at Crooked Creek after a long drive from Boise for a one night stay on our way to Mt Rushmore. The drive from the highway to the property is long and I wouldn't want to do it in the dark. I LOVED to property and highly recommend it. I would have liked to spend another day/night just to connect with nature. The cabin was spacious and exceptionally clean. We had dinner in the dining room and the food and service was exceptional. The continental breakfast was very good. I can't say...

"The property was great! The room was clean and quiet, and the staff fluffed it up daily while we were out hiking. The hot tub/pool area had a great ambiance with the lowered lighting at night and the smell of eucalyptus. The location of the lodge is great as it's right next to the center of town. It was easy to walk to restaurants, view the mountains, go to the historic Parks headquarters, etc. Although other reviewers mentioned difficulty in finding a parking space in the underground garage...
