"This hotel is very new. We had a pleasant stay for our one night visit to Pittsburgh. The bed was very comfortable and the property was quiet and well-maintained. The staff was helpful and courteous. There was a continental breakfast included. The location was close to restaurants and a movie theater in walking distance. There is a great fitness center and indoor pool included. We will return here during future Pittsburgh visits."

"Funky place. Great area. Modern rooms. Would stay again. Parking was expensive (valet only), it would have been nice if breakfast was free, and the cleaning stuff began their day too early and were quite loud in my opinion. Again though.... I would stay here again"

"Faucet handle came off with first use. Tried putting it back on. Water would not stop running, called staff and they couldn’t fix it so they just turned the water off to the faucet and was told to use the water out of the tub to wash hands. AC did not work. Hotel seemed to be rundown. No microwave or no mini fridge in the room. Highly do not recommend."

"Boggs Mansion was excellent! I was getting married so I stayed here the night before and the the night of my wedding and the staff was amazing!! He even was so kind to upgrade my room to a larger one so we could all get ready without any upcharge! They were so kind and willing to help with everything, made us feel so welcomed! The atmosphere of the mansion was so great I loved it!"

"Room was a tad smaller than I was expecting. The staff were super friendly. Kickback and breakfast were delicious, hot, and ready on time. The building itself has a great history as a former federal reserve bank."

The property is a rehabbed luxury home from the late 1800s or early 1900s--probably the home of a Pittsburgh robber baron. There is no staff. We arrived about 2:00 P.M. and found an individual working in the restaurant kitchen who was able to get us to our room. The room was unique and only 34 stairs up a very old and steep staircase. The pool that is advertised (the reason we chose this hotel over another BTW) is no longer open. In addition the toilet in our room ran the entire time we were there and the tub's overflow cover was not attached and sat on the corner of the tub leaving the opening gaping and ugly."

"Its hotel is very beautiful, has great restaurants around. It is right off of the Riverwalk and the staff is wonderful. The hotel pool is very small and I don’t think there was a hot tub.
