"The breakfast isn't good"

"Room smelled of mold, fruit flies flying about, door had been pushed in on the bottom creating a large space under the door. The window bled alot of light, I had to hang up the bed sheet to use to block out light from the window. The AC and ventilation had not been cleaned in quite a while. The room keys seemed to give out quite easily if anything else of importance was in the same pocket as it. Room did not feel clean and welcoming."

"Very expensive for just one night"

"Restaurant and café were also very good and a voucher towards the purchase was generous. The only thing was that the room was set to 65-68f and not changeable (thermostat control does not work). Even when I turned off the fan, I could feel cold air coming in. So it's perfect for people who like the room to be cool. But for me, it was VERY cold."

"Overall great hotel. My only issue is that the parking at the hotel is limited as first come first serve. Overflow parking is in the discovery bay hotel parking. But the room we had was great, and the staff were nice and informative."

"I wrote before that I cancelled this reservation and demanded a full refund. The hotel did not mention they had a height restriction on vehicles being valet parked so I would not be able to stay there ."

"Needs better maintenance. The sink backed up after someone in another room emptied sand down the drain. My sink was full of caked dark sand in the morning and generally the place needs repainting. For the price it was not luxury as expected and the billing department charged me an extra $300 for parking by mistake and if I didn’t wait extra long in person two days later (what if I flew out of Hawaii?) their oversight would have made the place a one-star for the price they charged.
